Davide started working in the IP field after his university degree and after have attended a Master program in Intellectual Property in Washington DC. Davide started his career in an IP firm in Washington DC (United States) and in 1996 he joined GLP. Apart from being the Head of the firm’s legal department, his daily business comprises consultancy related to patents, trademarks and designs for clients with big IP portfolios. Davide assists his National and International Clients in proceedings in the main jurisdictions regarding all aspects of Intellectual Property, from IP infringement to unfair competition, from the disclosure of trade secrets to employee inventions. His academic preparation is completed by a remarkable experience in analysing and managing Intellectual Property. Furthermore, he has gained a considerable experience in representing various companies before the European Patent Office, mainly in opposition proceedings. After being a visiting professor at the University of Udine for several years, he is now teaching Intellectual Property Law as a contract professor at the University of Trieste. Davide is author of several publications and regularly attends Intellectual Property related conferences and seminars as speaker. He is member of the Executive Committee of AIPPI Italy and member of EPI and of PEC (Professional Educational Committee). He is also member of AIDB, ECTA, INTA, INDICAM, MARQUES, LES Italia and of the Italian Association of Industrial Property Consultants (Collegio Italiano dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale). Moreover, he is EURid panelist for domain names .EU and member of the Italian administration counsel of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and of the technical committee of the Italian- Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
