Pyongyang IP Centre (PIPC) is the founder of intellectual property profession in the DPR Korea, which was established in July, 1980 as the first chartered IP law firm under the name of “Pyongyang Patent & Trademark Agency”. For the purpose of extension of its business scope, the firm changed its full name to “Pyongyang IP centre” in 2011.
