National Copyright Administration: 2007 International Copyright Forum to Open in Beijing Soon

Sponsored by the National Copyright Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the 2007 International Copyright Forum will be held in China Hotel Beijing on July 18. 

According to the sponsors, the forum will be an international, professional and authoritative platform to enhance the communication and exchanges between China's copyright sector and the international community. It is planned to have two sub-forums, and the participants will have in-depth discussion of the protection and utilization of copyright, internet transfer, and rules of game for internet games, etc. in this internet era. 

Following the footsteps of the times, themed on the "copyright protection of the internet industries," it will invite copyright institutions and internet publishers from more than 20 countries and regions of developed copyright-related industries, including the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, etc. China's noted experts, scholars, lawyers and representatives from internet companies will also participate in the forum.
