15 World-leading Achievements Announced at World Internet Conference

Fifteen world-leading achievements in science and technology were announced at the 5th World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, on November 7. The achievements involve artificial intelligence, 5G technology, big data, cloud computing, and block chain technology, said Wu Hequan, academician at Chinese Academy of Engineering. WeChat applet programs developed by Tencent, Huawei’s Ascend 310, Ant Financial’s commercial block chain platform, Amazon Sagemaker, Apollo open platform and Tesla’s smart customer service, were among the selections. Other cutting-edge technologies and business models included products and intelligent platforms from Arm Technology, Jingdong Group, Aliyun, Qualcomm, Tstinghua University, Microsoft, and Xioami. More than 400 innovations from 20 countries including China, the United States, Britain, Germany and France applied to participate in this event. It is the third time that the World Internet Conference has lauded world-leading achievements in science and technology.
