JPO Conducted Training Course on Design Examinations under the Hague System

From January 10 to 17, 2019, Japan Patent Office (JPO) conducted the “Training Course on Design Examinations under the Hague System” to promote accession to the Hague Agreement. A total of 21 trainees mainly consisting of design examiners from 9 countries participated in the course. In the course, JPO shared Japan’s experience in acceding to the Hague Agreement as well as gave lectures on examination practices. Active discussions on the design system and practices in each country were also held.
