The 3rd China Brand Day was celebrated in Changchun, capital of Jilin province, on May 10, showcasing products from a number of the province’s famous brands. The event was hosted by several government bodies in Jilin province, including the industry and information technology department, the commerce department, and the culture and tourism department. Its main venue was the Jilin Radio and TV Station. More than 70 companies from across the province participated in the event, showcasing their products through photographs, videos, and more. Automobiles manufactured by Hongqi, a brand belonging to China's leading automaker, Changchun-based FAW Group, were highlighted at the event. Since the start of the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020), Jilin province has produced 907 famous brands, 30 of which are in the service sector, 155 Chinese trademarks, and 72 geographical indication brands, contributing much to the economic development of the province.
