Regional Brands of Geographical Indications

The 2019 China Brand Development Summit was held as the first activity launched for the 5.10 China Brand Day, and the China Brand Evaluation was published for the sixth times continuously. Kweichow Moutai won the first place in regional brands of geographical indications with the brand value of 288,575 billion Yuan.

The brand evaluation is a popular way to cultivate and advertise name brands in the world as well as an important method for enterprises to cultivate their brand influence and expand the market. According to the evaluation results, the ICBC was named as the enterprise brand with the most value of 293,129 billion Yuan. Kweichow Moutai won the first place in regional brands of geographical indications with the brand value of 288,575 billion Yuan. The first place for the most value of product brands went to Geely Holding Group Co. with the amount of 31,399 billion Yuan. Dali Food Group Co. was named the technological innovation brand with the most value of 20,239 billion Yuan. Tsingtao Beer led the first place of Chinese Time-honored Brand with the value of 43,449 billion Yuan.

The number of brands participating the evaluation reached 1,293 in 2019, while the number of published brands reached 598. The total value of all published brands attained 7418.5 billion Yuan in which the ICBC led the first place by 293,129 billion Yuan.
