A large number of cybersquatting application of platform online store names were rejected

Deng Jingbo, a natural person operating "Deng Jingbo Department Store in Fengdong New City, Xixian New District", applied for 58 trademarks in 2020. Because most of them are store names on platforms such as JD.com, Taobao, and Suning.com, they have recently been rejected by the Trademark Office. It is a malicious trademark registration application not for the purpose of use.
 
The Trademark Office of China National Intellectual Property Administration's web page shows that natural person Deng Jingbo has applied for 61 trademarks from April 8, 2020, to November 28, 2020. The latest information shows that except for trademarks No. 51,69,465, 50,524,473, and 49424922, which are in the receiving or acceptance stage, the remaining 58 trademarks have been rejected. The date of the rejection notice is shown from February 20, 2021, to March 9, 2021.
 
These trademark applications cover categories 3, 9, 10, 16, 21, and 25 of the 45 categories in the classification table of trademark products (services). The names of the trademark applications are Junying, Qinghaojiu, Liubinghua, Yijiujiu, and Fuyiqing, Miqian, Shuifutang, Guermas, Jiu Kou, Xinsheng Aimu, BB LABORATORIES, Geoskincare, SPICERYHOUSE, Ren Renhe Jiangxin, PEARLOSOQDY, Qiaofei, Ailuka, Nanjing Tongrentang, CIGA LONG, JEEVOO, etc. Most of them are the store names of platforms, including JD.com, Taobao and Suning.com.
 
The Trademark Office rejected the above 58 trademark applications on the grounds of "malicious trademark registration applications not for the purpose of use".
