Shanghai: 34 cases involving World Expo labels

To well do copyright protection work for World Expo, Shanghai launched a series of special rectification activities. In the first two months, Shanghai industrial and commercial departments investigated 34 cases involving the exclusive rights of World Expo labels.
According to Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Industry and Commerce Bureau Chen Xuejun, in the first two months, Shanghai industrial and commercial departments deployed 4,097 law enforcers, investigated 30,600 marketers, dealt with 435 cases related to trademarks, seized 128,000 pieces of infringing labels and goods, and transferred 9 cases and 12 offenders. Among these cases, 34 cases involved exclusive rights of World Expo labels.
