Sinopec appraised as the model enterprise for national trademark strategy

At the awarding meeting for model enterprises for national trademark strategy held by State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) on June 1, China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) was awarded the title of model enterprise for implementing national trademark strategy. People's Daily, Xinhua and several other media made special reports, and the representative for legal affairs department represented at the awarding ceremony.

Over the past years, by taking the construction of an international company of energy and chemical with strong international competitiveness as its goal, Sinopec actively implemented the uniform brand strategy, and reinforced the trademark construction and management. The trademark of "SINOPEC" has been registered in 105 countries and districts, which offered strong support to the market competitiveness and the implementation of "going out" strategy. Sinopec brand image was deeply rooted in people's mind through servicing hundreds and thousands of consumers, making donations to fight earthquake, draughts and poverty and participating in various commonweal activities. Meanwhile, Sinopec attached more importance to the improvement of product quality and service, unremittingly carried out anti-fake activities, and achieved a lot in the brand influence and market competitiveness.

As the model enterprise in implementing the national trademark strategy, Sinopec will fully rely on the great supports by SAIC in trademark protection to make full use of the policy, implement the trademark strategy, improve the inner quality and brand image and thus to benefit customs and consumers.
