Days ago, the 5th Directors' Meeting of China Intellectual Property Society (CIPS) was held in Beijing. Vice Chairman of CIPS and Deputy Director of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Gan Shaoning was present at the meeting and made a report with the theme of "completely boosting the implementation of national IP strategy and effectively carrying out the constitution work of patent strategy".

Gan Shaoning summarized the achievements China gained after the implementation of "the Outline of National IP Strategy" for two years. He indicated that, the State Council approved the establishment of the interdepartmental joint conference system for the implementation of National IP Strategy. Currently, the strategic implementation system led by the State Council, coordinated by the interdepartmental joint conference and boosted by each department has been formed.

Concerning the constitution situation of patent strategy, Gan expressed that, SIPO established a leading group for the constitution and invited the leaders from related ministries to set up a experts' group to provide consultations and guidance for the constitution of patent strategy.

At the meeting, Chairman of CIPS Yang Zhengwu made a report. The report reviewed the main work of the fifth council of CIPS in the past two years and put forward the future work of CIPS.
　　
The related principals of the Trademark Bureau of SAIC and the Copyright Management Department of State Copyright Office respectively made a report on the constitution of trademark strategy and the implementation. More than 100 people attended the meeting.
