China releases research results of foreign IP environment

On July 7, State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) held a special forum in Beijing and released the first batch of research results of foreign IP environment. The related results will be provided for Chinese enterprises as public information to help them to integrate into foreign IP environment for effective overseas rights maintenance.

It is introduced that, the objects of the research were U.S., Europe, Japan and Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The research results include the IP environment of these countries, intellectual property risk assessment in foreign trade and coping strategies of domestic enterprises.

Deputy Director of SIPO Yang Tiejun expressed that, the released results is helpful for Chinese enterprises to safeguard their rights while respecting others' rights.
