The rail heat treatment methods and the rail heat treatment machines were granted a European patent, which has further increased our country’s competitiveness in the international rail market.

 

Panzhihua Steel Company leads China’s rail manufacturing. China’s railway has experienced speed-increases six times and the high-speed railway requires an urgent improvement in heat treatment for further development. Panzhihua Steel organized a scientific and technological team to solve the difficulties in rail heat straightening and steering constraints and independently researched and developed the technology and equipment, becoming China’s only enterprise which owns rail heat treatment technology.

 

At present, the thermal treatment equipment developed by Panzhihua Steel can be used to cope with rails of 50 kilograms per meter, 60 kilograms per meter and 75 kilograms per meter. The service life of the products can last two to three times longer than that of ordinary products, reaching a world advanced level.
