Job-hopping has led to increasing infringements of commercial secrets, with only 21% of the former work units winning the lawsuits, according to statistics of the Intermediate People’s Court of Chengdou City, Sichuan province. The court suggests the enterprises try to protect their own commercial secrets from the following aspects. 1) Make a strict definition of Corporate Commercial secrets; 2) Pay attention to the protection scope and methods; 3) Don’t rely too much on the trust system and the binding power of the contract; 4) Prevent further exposure of commercial secrets in litigations.
