PwC: China's semiconductor market becomes global leader

On November 15, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) released the latest report, "China's impact on the semiconductor industry: 2010 Update", pointing out that in the ups and downs of semiconductor industry in the past 8 years, the Chinese market has performed better than the rest of the world generally.

  PwC managing partner of the global technology industry Raman Chitkara said: "China continues its expansion in the global semiconductor market. China has accounted for 41% in the global semiconductor consumption. More than half of new semiconductor enterprises in the global industry are from China. Employment of China's semiconductor industry takes 25% of the global employment in this industry".
