Inner Mongolia: Hohhot investigated 90 IP infringement cases

According to statistics, until now, Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, has investigated 90 cases on intellectual property infringement and manufacture and sales of counterfeit and shoddy commodities, with 30.5 million yuan involved.

Among these 90 cases, 9 serious cases involved 23.8 million yuan; 45 cases were resolved; 3 cases were transferred to judiciary departments including 2 serious cases, with more than 8 million yuan involved; destroyed 33 sites where infringement and counterfeit products were produced; 10986 commodities were confiscated.

Since the launch of the special campaign, several departments in Hohhot have combined their force in cracking down upon illegal activities of intellectual property infringement and manufacture and sales of counterfeit and shoddy commodities and achieved great results.
