Tianjin:National animation industrial park scheduled to open in July

A national animation industrial park, home to startups with intellectual property and innovative capacity, is scheduled to open in July in the port city.

The park's development blueprint calls for up to 100 small and medium-sized companies and 10 leading enterprises to begin operations during the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-2015).

Administrators plan to offer resident companies business consultation, technological and equipment support, operational guidance and help with intellectual property management.

The added services are expected to assist emerging companies reduce operational costs and investment risks while strengthening the city's animation industry.
