Tian Lipu met with director of D.P.R.K. Invention Office

Tian Lipu, director of the State Intellectual Property Office, along with Li Yuguang, deputy director of the SIPO, met with Mr. Ri Chol Jin, director general of the Invention Office of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in Beijing on April 18. The two sides exchanged opinions on the latest status of intellectual property development in the two countries.

Tian said that China and D.P.R.K. had a long-lasting and good-neighborly relations and China was willing to strengthen the cooperation with D.P.R.K. in intellectual property areas. Tian also expected the future high-level visits between the two IP offices to deepen mutual understanding.

Mr. Ri Chol Jin hoped to take this opportunity to learn from China and to enhance the cooperation between the two bodies.
