AICs enforcement campaign delivers

China's administration for industry and commerce (AICs) on July 28 announced their fruitful output since China launched the national campaign on combating IPR violations and on the production and distribution of fake and shoddy products. As of June 30, AICs have totally handled 90,701 infringement cases with a total value of 510 million yuan. Of all the cases handled, 13,831 relating to well-known trademarks, 13,179 and 648 involving foreign trademarks and GIs, respectively.

During the campaign, AICs have mobilized 3.978 million law enforcement officers/times to examine 9.226 million businesses, 1,745 illicit dens were banned.Among the cases, 90,701 of which were brought on file and 757 were transferred to judicial organs.
