Beijing: Added value of creative industry expected to reach 400 billion yuan as of 2015

The 16th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), the largest-scale international economic and trading activity in Macao, will be held on October 20th. About 30 businesses from 6 cultural and creative industries in Beijing will make their first public appearance in the Fair and introduce products having favorable development prospects and original cultural and creative products. It is expected that the added value of creative industry in Beijing will reach 300 billion to 400 billion yuan as of 2015.

Beijing plays a leading role in developing China's creative industry. Such a strategic emerging industry has become an important pillar of the Capital's economy. Beijing government has introduced a series of supporting policies in finance, tax and intellectual property to promote its development. Participating in the 16th MIF is a vital step to "go global".
