Recently, Xuzhou government launched its first governmental document on implementing trademark strategies entitled Opinions on implementing trademark strategies to promote indigenous innovations and economic development.

This year, the administrations for industry and commerce in the city have taken a series of measures to promote the implementation of trademark strategies and increase entities' trademark awareness.

In the first nine months, the city received 2,835 trademark applications, exceeding the total amount of 2,694 applications in 2010.

As of the end of September, the city has owned a total of 11,877 trademarks, in which, 7 are China Well-known Trademarks, 88 are Jiangsu Famous Trademarks and 227 are Xuzhou Notable Trademarks.
