Intellectual Property Protection in China Summit about to kick off in San Francisco

2012/03/01

From March 26th to 27th, the Intellectual Property Protection in China Summit will be held in San Francisco. The forum will focus exclusively on the latest developments related to IPR in China and provide people with detailed information on recent revisions to IP legislation, as well as best practices for developing a successful IP strategy.
In this cross-industry event, the most timely and critical issues will be analyzed by experts who have extensive experience working in China and are well-versed in Chinese IP law. As more U.S. companies open up offices in China, IP Counsels are charged with the difficult task of developing a reliable strategy to ensure the protection of IP in a country that is saturated with counterfeits, generic copies and cases of infringement.

This forum aims at analyzing recent and proposed changes to Patent, Trademark and Copyright Laws in China, determining best practices for establishing strategic alliances in China, developing a successful patent strategy by gaining a better understanding of the Chinese patent system and significant trends that exist, utilizing data protection tools to combat privacy and data infringement in China and identifying and implementing preemptive measures to improve the protection and enforcement of IPR in China.
