Shaanxi conducted IPR "convoy" enforcement operation

2012/04/09

Shaanxi IP authorities at all levels have extensively started an IPR enforcement operation entitled "convoy" since the Provincial Intellectual Property Office launched the Implementation Regulation on Conducting IPR Enforcement Operations 2012.

The disposition of the operation by the authorities demonstrates several features.

The first one is the fast response speed. On Mar. 14, Shaanxi IPO aligned with Xi'an IPO and Yanta Science and Technology Bureau to establish a joint enforcement team to investigate IPR violations in Yanta District to mark the World Consumer Rights Day, only a few days after the national “convoy” operation kicked off in early March.

During the operation, all superior departments made clear requirements to their subsidiaries, pointing out working direction for them to move forward.

They also made all efforts in disseminating hotline 12330 and other complaint -collecting hotlines.

Furthermore, the authorities in the province vow to take further actions in accordance with the issued implementation regulation. [Chinese version is available on snipo.gov.cn]
