A book published by NCAC to mark the 20-year milestone of China copyright industry

Twenty-year Progress of China's Copyright Industry compiled by the National Copyright Administration (NCAC) was recently published by the People's Press to mark the 20-year anniversary of the promulgation of China's Copyright Law. 

The works provides the 20-year progress and footprint of China's copyright industry in a comprehensive perspective. Liu Binjie and Yan Xiaohong, Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP)/NCAC, respectively wrote the preface and the postscript for the book.

Twenty-year Progress of China's Copyright Industry is composed of 300 thousand words and a collection of a hundred pieces of valuable pictures covering an era from the issuance of China's Copyright Law in 1990 to the end of 2010. In a bid to keep the continuity of history and give audience an in-depth view of the difficulties lawmakers experienced during legislation, nearly 20 pages were dedicated to the retrospect of the conception of the country's first copyright law. [Chinese version is available on chinaxwcb.com]
