From August 6th to 17th, Jinan Intellectual Property Office reinforced patent enforcement efforts in local circulation areas such as some large scale shopping malls and supermarkets, targeting a total of 400 items of patented products, in which, 50 items were suspected of patent infringement. Randomly selected samples among those 50 items were delivered to related authorities for further investigation. Officials from the office also educated business operators on patent knowledge on site.

The enforcement efforts will help increase the protection awareness of stakeholders in local circulation areas and will lead to a sound environment where creations will be greatly promoted and protected.
