Fujian: 22 trademark infringement cases ended in Shishi City

In recent years, the industrial and commercial sections in Shishi City of Fujian Province paid special attention to IPR protection work and established long-term IPR protection mechanism to fight against infringement and counterfeit. In the third quarter of this year, 22 cases related to trademark infringement were ended, with a value of 168,200 yuan.

During the period from July to September, the Trademark Section of Shishi Municipal Industry and Commerce Bureau conducted special actions to curb trademark infringement. They energetically publicized the significance of IPR protection by popularizing relevant laws and regulations including National IPR Strategy Outline, Trademark Law and Anti-Unfair Competition Law. The agency also severely combated the actions infringing exclusive rights of local trademarks registered in Shishi City and imitating famous and well-known trademarks.

The industry and commerce section of Shishi City also joined hands with Fuguiniao Co., Ltd. to clear up two counterfeit Fuguiniao stores located in Tieling City and Dalian City of Liaoning Province. As a result, 455 counterfeit Fuguiniao clothes were seized, with a value of 127,000 yuan.
