According to information released by Guiyang Administration for Industry and Commerce on October 31st, as of now, the city has owned 13 Guizhou Famous Trademarks, accounting for 50% of all such marks in the province. In addition, Guizhou Notable Trademarks have reached 168 and valid registered trademarks have recorded 14,282. Trademarks held by private enterprises and individual entities took up about 52% of all registered trademarks in the province.

From January to September, the Administration conducted trademark enforcement investigations in 8,160 business entities and 232 key areas, destroyed three illicit lairs where counterfeit commodities were produced and sold, and filed 37 trademark cases.

Furthermore, the city has successfully obtained its first-ever two geographic certification trademarks this year.
