Recently, Tongchuan Municipal Intellectual Property Office joined efforts with local citizens utilities board and administration for industry and commerce to conduct a patent enforcement activity in one of shopping centers in the city.

The enforcement group investigated over 300 commodities including cookware, wine, kitchen pendants, home appliances and food to see if there was any violation in labeling patent marks.

The group also educated business owners and consumers on site on rules and regulations on patent protection.

This activity has effectively combated patent infringement and facilitated the maintenance of a sound market environment.
