Sichuan IP offices conducted a patent administrative enforcement activity

The intellectual property offices at all levels in Sichuan province including the offices of Sichuan Province, Chengdu City, Chongzhou City, Shuangliu County and Dayi County jointly conducted a patent administrative enforcement activity in Shuangliu County on December 4th.

During the enforcement, 16 officials investigated about 2,000 items and registered six commodities marked with patent labels. They also educated business owners in judging counterfeit patents by searching patents and checking the legal status of patents.

Rectification suggestions were given to the business operators on mal-labeled patent marks and officials would file cases to inspect such commodities with suspected counterfeit patents to safeguard the market order.
