Recently, activities under the 6th China Patent Week in Shanxi were waged in Taiyuan, capital of the province. During the period, the city carried out online patented technology trade promotion, discussed patent-collateralized financing policies, conducted a number of patent enforcement inspection and disseminated intellectual property knowledge in the street.

In the week, the Provincial Intellectual Property Office hosted an exhibition displaying excellent patented technologies and products in new emerging sectors including new energy, new materials, energy saving and environmental protection, equipment manufacturing, modern coal chemical industry and biotechnology.

Many local institutions and departments, such as the Technology Property Exchange Center, the Patent Exhibition and Trade Center, the IPR Aid Center, the IP Information Center, the Patent Protection Association, patent agencies, colleges and universities, research institutes and enterprises in the province, actively participated in those activities.
