Jiangsu: Haimen rendered 2.7 mln yuan to award issued patents

According to information released by Haimen Science and Technology Bureau on April 15, the city allocated more than 2.7 million yuan to award 4,639 patents issued from January to June 2011 and invention patents applied in 2011, where each patent on designs, utility models and inventions will get awards valued at 900 yuan, 1,900 yuan and 8,000 yuan respectively. The filing and processing fees for international invention patent applications by enterprises will be wholly subsidized by local government.
