During the 10th forum on cross-Straits IT industry standards held last week, experts from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan agreed to work together on research into the fifth-generation telecommunication standards. Industry insiders from both sides also signed agreements on making or improving standards on a wide range of technologies including the cloud computing, lithium batteries, LED lighting, mobile Internet and photovoltaic power systems.
