New Zealand Trade and Enterprise brings eight high-tech enterprises to CHTF

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise brought eight high-tech enterprises from New Zealand to showcase at the 15th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) in Shenzhen from November 16-21. The organization aims to promote New Zealand’s advanced technologies and solutions as well as boost exchange and cooperation between China and New Zealand. The CHTF is the largest high-tech fair in China.


New Zealand’s technology industry has developed rapidly in recent years. It has become the third export-oriented industry after the dairy and tourism industries, with annual revenue over 7 billion New Zealand dollars ($5.83 billion). New Zealand has advantages in geographic location and population distribution. It also focuses on patent development and technological innovation, allowing New Zealand’s high-tech enterprises to provide effective, advanced and innovative solutions for groups and companies around world.


The New Zealand enterprises showcased in this CHTF are from the industries of power technology, medical treatment, IT, motor manufacturing, environmental technology and retail automation.


According to John Cochrane, commercial consul in Guangzhou of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, this is the second time New Zealand will join the CHTF. The New Zealand pavilion is much larger compared to last year. Twelve New Zealand enterprises are displayed in the fair, triple the amount last year.


New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and the eight New Zealand high-tech enterprises want to establish a long-term cooperative relationship with the Chinese market through the CHTF, sharing technology, equipment and services with the Chinese market to promote the development of the Chinese high-tech industry.


New Zealand Trade and Enterprise is a New Zealand organization that promotes international economic development. It has 46 agencies around the world helping New Zealand enterprises set up strategic alliances and develop international business relationships.
