Yang Tiejun Meets Visiting Delegation of Intellectual Property Owners Association

Recently, Yang Tiejun, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office, met with delegation of the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) in Beijing. Both sides exchanged views on many issues such as patent examination practice, utility model patent system, the latest amendment to China’s Patent Law, etc.


The visiting delegation included chairman and executive director of Asian Affairs Commission of the IPO, and chief intellectual property counsel of the Johnson & Johnson company. The association was established in 1972 and headquartered in the United States. It is an international association serving for owners of patents, trademarks and commercial secrets. It is also the only service provider for intellectual property owners of all the industries and technological fields in the world.
