Five patents win Golden Award

Five patents submitted by Beijing-based companies and organizations won China Patent Golden Award on Nov 11, 2013, in Beijing during the Ceremony for the 15th WIPO-SIPO Award for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention and Industrial Design.


Four patent right holders come from the capital city's Zhongguancun Science Park. They include Beijing Goldenway Biology Tech, Lenovo Group, Beijing Yuanhegenze Techology and the Beijing Institute of Control Engineering. Another institution is the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.


20 patented inventions and five industrial designs received the China Patent Golden Award this year.


The award is a joint effort of China's State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). It recognizes Chinese inventors, designers and right holders who are delivering outstanding contributions to the country's technical innovation and economic development.
