China Xidian Group, one of the country’s key producers of distribution and transmission equipment, recently won two National Patent Gold Awards, the top patent award in China.
One of the patents concerns an interrupter with an increased current carrying ability for high-voltage switchgear, which is mainly used to solve the problem of flow capacity of circuit breakers, and is widely used for 1100kV voltage power transmission lines.
The second patent concerns the railway inner shield digital signal cable which is used for the signaling system for automatic block signal and station coded information transmission.
Xidian has long sought to promote independent innovation and intellectual property creation, and has obtained more than 1,300 patents, including 160 that involve advanced technology used in China and around the world.
