Recently, the five-day 20th China Yangling Agricultural High-tech Fair (CAF) opened at Yangling Agricultural High-tech Industries Demonstration Zone. More than 7000 agricultural scientific and technological achievements and projects from 37 countries and regions were brought to the fair. As a major participant at the exhibition of agricultural high technologies and products, the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) organized more than 80 scientific and research institutions from 13 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions and six regions of Shaanxi Province to bring over 100 agriculture-related patent projects to the fair. The projects covered many sectors such as planting industry, agricultural means of production, protected agriculture, agricultural biotechnology and agricultural byproducts processing, etc.
In addition to project exhibitions and technology trade, SIPO also held the “Intellectual Property Pledge Financing Matchmaking Meeting” and promoted the presentation of the excellent agricultural patent projects on the National Patent Technology (Shaanxi) Exhibition and Trade Platform, the zscq.xbcq.com and the Xi’an High-tech Zone Intellectual Property Exhibition and Trade Platform. It also organized patent administrative enforcement activities and helped improve exhibition intellectual property protection and promotion. In addition, SIPO displayed the achievements of five-year implementation of the national intellectual property strategy at the special decoration booth, and also set up an online broadcast area to present the activities and key project at the fair with words and pictures in order to promote the intellectual property culture.
