Netherlands: download of pirated films and music is no longer legal

In the early time, the Government of Netherlands specially introduced the Regulations related to “pirate taxation” in order to pacify the film and music companies. However, a few days ago, the European Court judged and held that the current “pirate tax” system was illegal, and that citizens of Netherlands could no longer download the copyrighted films and music legally and free of charge.
