Based on the decision from China’s Supreme People’s Court, all the three types of cases, IP civil, administrative and criminal cases, were tried by the IP judicial department. The first IP judicial tribunal in Beijing First Intermediate People’s Court (the first IP judicial tribunal) on January 21st 2014 officially accepted the appeals of Tao Lin, Zou Honggaung and Dai Zhicai counterfeiting registered trademark. The first instance of this IP criminal case was made by Haidian People’s Court. It was the first IP criminal case officially accepted by the first IP judicial tribunal. For now, this case is at trial.
