LeTV sued Baidu Cloud for Intercepting Ads Alleged Unfair Competition: claiming for 500,000 yuan

On May 27th, the official micro-blog of Beijing Haidian court revealed thatLeTV sued Baidu for its unfair competition, on the ground that the program of “Baidu TV cloud” illegally intercepted the commercial ads from LeTV, LeTV box etc., and requested the court to order the defendant to stop such behavior, to post announcement in significant ways on its own website in a bid to eliminate the adverse effects on prosecutor, with a compensation of 500,000 yuan for the economic losses and 1760 yuan for the reasonable expenditure. Recently, the Haidian court has accepted the case.
