The First 3D Painting Patent Infringement Lawsuit in Qingdao is in Session, Involving One Million Yuan Compensation

The plaintiff in this case, an advertising cooperation in Hangzhou claimed that the reason why it brought the lawsuit before the Qingdao Intermediate People's Court is that the defendants, a shopping plaza in Qingdao and an art management corporation in Hangzhou, infringed its entitled copyright by displaying in a square in Qingdao17 pieces of 3D Magic paintings copies whose copyright belong to the plaintiff. The plaintiff requests the court to order the defendants to stop the copyright infringement and destruct all copies involved in this case. Besides, it also demands that the first-mentioned defendant shall compensate 1.717 million Yuan for its economic loses, and the second defendant shall assume joint responsibility for compensation.
