Baidu v. Qihoo 360, Winning 700,000 Yuan for the First Trial

On August 7th, the Beijing First Intermediate People's Court made the first instance on the unfair competition dispute caused by whether the search engines of Qihoo 360 violated the Robots Exclusion Protocol, determining that what Qihoo 360 did violates the relevant provisions of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law, and it should compensate Baidu a total of 700,000 yuan for its economic losses and other reasonable expenses. However, the court dismissed other claims made by Baidu.
