China’s First Database for Tire Treads Established

Recently, China’s First Database for Tire Tread s was put into operation. Co-developed by the Rubber Valley Group and the Intellectual Property Publishing House, this database covers around 80,000 design patents related to tire treads from various regions such as China, Japan, Korea, U.S. and EU, with a total of 520,000 pictures. Besides, this database will be updated regularly to disclose the latest authorized design patents. Being used to search for the latest design patents related to tire tread to hedge the risk of possible infringement, this database makes the history of big data application in the rubber industry in China.
