SIPO Publicizes Electronic Patent Applications in Shaanxi

Electronic application refers to that State Intellectual Property Office accepts patent applications in form of electronic documents via Internet. Through the electronic application system, inventors can submit their patent application materials via Internet and shorten the time of patent examination and approval.

Days ago, the Preliminary Examination & Flow Management Department of the Patent Bureau under SIPO sent relevant experts to Shaanxi to introduce electronic applications and 50-plus people attended the training class from 16 patent agencies in Shaanxi, universities in Xi'an and other related entities.

At the training conference, experts generally briefed SIPO's layout and steps of impelling electronic applications. The technicians from the Section of Electronic Data elaborated the operation flow of electronic applications, showed the procedure from registration to submitting documents and answered the questions raised by the participants. 8 patent agencies of Shaanxi registered for electronic applications at the spot and expressed welcome to the measures of electronic applications promoted by SIPO.
