On September 30, Heads of the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C (SIPO) and the European Patent Office (EPO) met in Paris, France. Commissioner of the SIPO Shen Changyu and President of the EPO Beno?t Battistelli attended the meeting and jointly signed the Work Plan of EPO-SIPO on Bilateral Co-operation 2017. During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussion on cooperative projects such as CPC classification, exchange of patent data, EPOQUE and personnel training.
