Commissioner Shen Changyu Attends WIPO Assemblies

On October 3, local time, the 56th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) was held in Geneva, Switzerland. Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C (SIPO) Shen Changyu led China's delegation to the assemblies. At the meeting, Shen Changyu introduced China's progress of building an Intellectual Property (IP) Power, and expressed appreciation to the achievements of WIPO. He also said that international IP rules should be made more widely-beneficial, inclusive and balanced, and appealed for the member countries to approve and take part in the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances, meanwhile looked forward to positive results from topics relating to the Industrial Design Treaty at the assemblies.
