China Plans to Assign Intellectual Property Right Officials to Its Embassies

On January 17, the State Council Information Office held a press conference centering on the 13th Five Year National Plan on IPR Protection and Utilization. Gan Shaolin, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office, revealed that China is studying the possibility to assign intellectual property right officials to its Embassies, aimed at helping enterprises to go abroad and serving the Belt and Road initiative.
