60th Anniversary of the Treaties of Rome

2017/03/28

25 March marks the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaties of Rome. The Treaties set up the European Economic Community (EEC) which brought together six countries (Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) to work towards integration and economic growth. The 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome is being celebrated all across the EU, with different events being organized across the Member States.
