Nokia and Apple Resolve IP Litigation

2017/05/26

Nokia and Apple have settled all litigation related to their IP dispute and have entered into a patent licensing agreement. According to a statement released recently, Nokia will provide certain network infrastructure products and services to Apple. Apple will continue selling Nokia digital health products in Apple retail and online stores.
And earlier this year, the US International Trade Commission revealed plans to investigate a complaint alleging that Apple had imported patent-infringing phones, tablet computers and components. The press release stated that information regarding the deal will remain confidential, but said that Nokia will receive an upfront cash payment from Apple, as well as additional revenues during the term of the agreement.
