Zhang Maoyu Leads a Delegation to Visit IP Institutions of Argentina and Chile

Recently, at the invitation of intellectual property (IP) authorities of Argentina and Chile, Zhang Maoyu, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) led a delegation to pay working visits and signed cooperation agreements with them respectively.
During his visit to Argentina, Zhang Maoyu held talks with Dámaso A. Pardo, President of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) of Argentina, and co-chaired the Roundtable on Intellectual Property between the two sides. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the latest development of intellectual property rights (IPR), the use and management of IPR, informatization, patent examination etc, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the exchange of data.
During his visit to Chile, Zhang Maoyu held talks with Maximiliano Santa Cruz, Director of National Institute of Industrial Property of the Republic of Chile (INAPI). The two sides exchanged views on issues of common concern, such as the implementation of IP strategies, and management, and signed a memorandum of understanding on patent prosecution highway (PPH) pilot program, which saw the formal launch of the PPH program.
